In Brussels, our team presented a project called AREANA (AVIATION RESEARCH ECOSYSTEM ADVANCED NOVEL APPROACH). The project aims to bring together researchers from across Europe and the UK to create Aviation research synergies between Horizon Europe, AZEA, and National programs.
The project:
👉 Will work towards improving the coordination of aviation funding programs by supporting synergies between European, National, and Regional R&I aviation programs.
👉 Will prepare for the upcoming Aerodays, which will take place during the first half of 2025 in Warsaw, Poland, coinciding with the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union.
👉 Aims to direct support of AZEA (Alliance for Zero Emission Aviation) activities by performing an analysis and survey on the current state and planned R&I for hydrogen and electric aviation technology in Europe and associated countries.
The project is funded by the European Union.
